Plan Ireland

On the 14th of April, our year organised a talk from Plan Ireland- Because I Am A Girl. One of the girls called Plan Ireland and asked if there was any chance someone would come into the school and give a talk to the transition years about girls education.

The lady gave us an email for a lady called Mary Hanlon. The girl from our class emailed her and asked if she would be able to have a talked with our year about girls education.

We planned for the 14th of April.

On the day we were set up in the hall. She did a workshop with us which involved getting our opinion on a topic.

She also showed us a presentation on girls ed. and a movie. We really enjoyed the talk and learned a lot.
